Xinhongji Refractory double chamber melting furnace comprises a furnace casing with two furnace chambers. While their atmospheres are separated, the two chambers dispose of a common melting bath. First, the scrap is placed and pre-heated on the dry hearth of the scrap chamber; the contaminants are pyrolyzed. In the next step, the scrap is pushed into the melting bath to be melted there. The heating chamber accommodates the furnace burners and provides the heat required for the melting process. The recirculating melt flow transfers the melting heat from the heating chamber into the scrap chamber.
Our furnace design and layout allow maximum charging flexibility and operate semi-automatically, minimizing operator intervention and maintenance operations. We offer customized solutions according to the customer’s needs.
All furnaces are designed and built by us in our factory or directly in our customer’s production site. Upon delivery, a test certificate is issued and, upon request, all the certifications regarding the quality of the materials used are provided.
Considering that aluminum scrap is easy to burn and float on the surface of molten aluminum. And the double chamber melting furnace comes out. There is a molten aluminum pump installed at the side of the heating chamber. Using the molten aluminum pump take the molten aluminum from the heating chamber to the melting chamber and form a vortex. Then the aluminum scrap shall soon melt but not directly touch the fire. This can realize up to 98% aluminum recovery.
1. It adopts regenerative burners to ultimately recycle the heat in exhaust gas to raise the temperature in the furnace, which can significantly improve the thermal efficiency of the aluminum melting furnace.
