Refractory corundum ceramic balls (also called corundum grinding balls), refractory corundum balls are also known as heat storage ceramic balls that are especially utilized as packing in thermal storage equipment. The heat storage ceramic balls refractory alumina balls fit for hot air furnaces, heating & converting furnaces, air separation equipment, melting furnaces, and other devices in used and steel industries Using in the melting furnace regenerative burners for Aluminium mills and steel works.
Refractory corundum ceramic balls are a series of alumina spheres referred to as corundum balls due to their high alumina content. Corundum balls can be subdivided into series of 90, 92, 95, 99, etc. according to alumina content.
Good chemical stability, no chemical reaction with materials;
High mechanical strength and long service life;
High-temperature resistance, refractory ceramic balls can reach a maximum heat resistance temperature of 1900 degrees.
Main specifications of refractory ceramic balls: Φ40mm Φ50mm Φ60mm Φ70mm Φ80mm or customized.
High heat storage capacity, anti-slagging, anti-oxidation, and excellent erosion resistance.
Good thermal conductivity, small thermal resistance, good shock stability, and long life.
Good flexibility, high intensity, and refractoriness.
Maximum use temperature up to 2400°C.
Small size, easy to change and operate.
ISO9001:2008
Corundum balls generally are put into use for high and low-temperature shifting furnaces, reforming furnaces, hydro converters, desulfurization tanks, and methanation furnaces in fertilizer plants, which functions to disperse gas and liquid, and to support, cover and protect the catalyst. Corundum balls can also be used in hot blast stoves and heating converters in the steel industry.
