Silicon carbide castables are mainly 75~98% of silicon + carbide as the main raw material, adding high-efficiency water reducer and ultrafine powder, with pure calcium aluminate cement as the binder, thus made into amorphous refractory material. which is the first choice for non-ferrous metal melting furnaces, blast furnace ironmaking grooves, cupolas, and other high-temperature record materials. The performance indicators of silicon carbide castables are similar to silicon carbide bricks and can be used for the on-site casting of kilns.

Silicon carbide castables have high thermal conductivity and a small thermal expansion coefficient. SIC refractory castables are difficult to penetrate with molten steel and slag. High-temperature oxidation is a protective oxidation, and oxygen resistance is significantly better than carbon materials.
Based on the SIC body, silicon carbide is wear-resistant and silicon carbide has high hardness.
